PSECU Offers Financial Wellness On the Go with New WalletWorks Podcast
October 27, 2021
Harrisburg, PA (October 26, 2021) – To expand its financial wellness resources, PSECU has launched the WalletWorks Podcast. The podcast will be hosted by the PSECU Financial Wellness Team and feature biweekly episodes. The debut episode discusses tips and tricks for eliminating debt and includes information on debt payoff strategies, reducing expenses, and how carrying debt can impact your credit.
“By adding a podcast to our existing financial wellness library, we’re able to reach more members wherever they are with the information they need to be financial savvy,” said co-host Lisa Kennedy, PSECU’s Content Analyst. “You can listen to the podcast while commuting to work or walking the dog, and that means money tips are easily accessible for everyone.”
Future topics will include conversations ranging from how credit cards work to understanding the homebuying process and will include guests from inside PSECU, as well as community partners. Additionally, each episode will feature money questions submitted by listeners. The hosts’ goal is to tackle difficult money issues with open conversation and real-life feedback, breaking down the notion that talking about money is taboo or even uninteresting.
“We’re looking forward to engaging with the community on our new WalletWorks Podcast,” said co-host Sara Weiser, PSECU’s Content & Communications Strategist. “We’re accepting listener questions on personal financial topics, so don’t hesitate to reach out and submit yours. We might share it on a future episode.”
