TBA Credit Union Awards Classroom Improvement Grants

TRAVERSE CITY, MI (October 22, 2021) — TBA Credit Union has recently awarded two classroom improvement grants to local educators at Suttons Bay High School and Traverse City West Senior High School.

Jessica Vitale, Media Publications Instructor at Suttons Bay High School, was awarded $800.00 for new equipment for the student-run broadcasting studio. The equipment will help provide better quality to the studio, as well as a sense of pride for the students who help run it.

Kate Heydlauff, Biology and Geometry Teacher at Traverse City West Senior High School was awarded $150.00 for Teachers Pay Teachers to help purchase a variety of activities, labs, and assessments to use in class. The activities provide unique learning opportunities for students.
