As we round out October and Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Teachers Federal Credit Union is helping get closer to the cure through in branch donations and being a flagship sponsor of the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.
Teachers committed $15,000 to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk held on October 17th at Jones Beach State Park, and gathered with 150 employee walkers to raise a total of $35,000. Throughout the remainder of October, you can still go into any Teachers location and donate money for a pink ribbon, with all donations going to cancer research.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer has united communities in the fight against this deadly disease and funded breakthrough research, 24/7 support for breast cancer patients and access to lifesaving screenings for more than two decades, and Teachers is proud to help their continuous journey.
