Thousands of students across Pasco County attend school without adequate clothing, and of the 67,374 elementary, middle and high school students, more than 50 percent qualify for the Free or Reduced Lunch program. A $50,000 grant provided by Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union Foundation will provide food, clothing, shoes and school supplies for 10,000 students in need from 76 Pasco County schools through the Pasco County Schools Assist, Believe, Care program (ABC program), thus enabling them to have a more successful school experience.
