freedomWarminster, PA - For the eighth consecutive year, Freedom Credit Union sponsored an evening of music for the Pennypack Park Concert Series. This year, Jamison Celtic Rock and The Bogside Rogues performed for the large crowd that turned out for the event, and played exciting sets of Irish rock music. Freedom representatives were at the concert to hand out membership applications and Freedom gear. They also explained the credit union difference to the interested concert-goers, including the many benefits Freedom offers to their Members, such as low-rate personal and business loans and mobile banking. The Pennypack Park Festival board president, Glenn McCurdy, says the summer-long series is one of the top music festivals in the Philadelphia area due, in-part, to sponsors such as Freedom. Local business sponsorships help to support the summer concert series, improve Pennypack Park, and fund performing art scholarships for local students.
