St. Louis, MO. (Sept. 16, 2021) Arsenal Credit Union won a 2021 Dora Maxwell Award for outstanding achievement in a social responsibility program. The credit union was primarily recognized for its new Community Impact Fund and 14 grants totaling $24,300 that were awarded through it to local charities.

Arsenal also gave back in other ways to grant recipients, plus other nonprofit organizations through various drives, events, corporate and employee donations, sponsorship of digital financial education in local high schools and our employees volunteering more than 375 hours despite limited opportunities due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The competition is held annually by the Heartland Credit Union Association and Credit Union National Association. The credit union came in 2nd place in the state in competition with other credit unions having assets between $250 million and $1 billion. It was the only credit union in the St. Louis area to win the award this year.

This is the 17th time Arsenal has won the award.
