Credit Union Donates $5,000 to Local YMCA

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. Greylock Federal Credit Union's $5,000 grant to the Northern Berkshire YMCA will support sports activities, including swimming lessons.
"We're happy to introduce our youth members to the healthy activities offered by the YMCA in North Adams," said Marilyn L. Sperling, president of Greylock Federal Credit Union. "This opportunity to participate in the YMCA's youth sports programs and swimming lessons provides a very valuable benefit to our young members."
Greylock Youth Members up to 13 years of age, can receive 10 percent off an annual Northern Berkshire YMCA membership and one free youth program. Applicable youth programs are those valued up to $50 and include indoor soccer, basketball, t-ball, gymnastics and ZumbAtomic dance classes. Greylock Youth Club members can also opt for one 8-week swim lesson package. A YMCA annual youth membership is required for this offer.
"Greylock's generosity boosts our membership while delivering wholesome programs to the youth in our communities. Our activities develop self-confidence, self-esteem and self-expression," said Justin Ihne, CEO of the Northern Berkshire YMCA.
To receive a free program and a reduced-rate YMCA youth membership, Greylock Youth members can pick up their ticket at any Greylock Federal Credit Union branch and bring it to the Northern Berkshire YMCA. Tickets are valid through December 2013.
