Summit Credit Union Hosts Its First Annual Charity Car Show
August 24, 2021
Greensboro, NC – August 24, 2021 - Summit Credit Union is pleased to announce the success of its first annual Charity Car Show held in July. Over 60-automobiles, including classic cars, trucks, and the latest muscle cars were at the event for spectators to see. Summit Credit Union staff and attendees enjoyed seeing the best cars of the Triad and meeting members of the community.
Not only was it a successful and fun event for attendees, Summit Credit Union also gave back to the local community. Through the generosity of attendees, Summit Credit Union raised over $1,700 and received many donations of canned goods and supplies for BackPack Beginnings.
BackPack Beginnings helps children in need by ensuring basic necessities are given directly to children such as food, clothing, and other supplies.
“We are proud, especially after an unprecedented year, that we were able to support and offer this successful event for our members and to help our local community’s children in need. We look forward to conducting this event for many years to come,” says Sam Whitehurst, President and CEO of Summit Credit Union.
