Western Cooperative CU Donates 653 School Supplies!

Williston, ND - August 18, 2021 - Western Cooperative Credit Union (WCCU) recently donated a generous amount of back-to-school supplies to Williston Basin School District #7. WCCU Employees raised the money for this cause by dedicating a portion of their Social Committee’s budget, and also accepted free-will donations to purchase and donate the necessary supplies and backpacks for children in need.
In all, a total of 653 items were purchased, which included 48 backpacks, and 605 incidental supplies!
On August 16, credit union employees Rachael Vaughn, IT Administrator, and Krista Bruce, Accounting Representative, delivered the much-appreciated donation to Allison Stensland, Williston Basin School District #7 LBSW Homeless Liaison.
