RTN Annual Golf Tournament Supports Community Projects and Financial Education

Waltham, MA— RTN GoodWorks Foundation’s Annual Golf Tournament is scheduled to be held on Monday, October 4, 2021, with a shotgun start at 11 am at Oakley Country Club in Watertown, MA (rain or shine). Proceeds from the Tournament will help fund RTN GoodWorks Foundation’s community projects and financial education efforts.

RTN GoodWorks Foundation has donated more than nearly $225,000 to support its surrounding communities while fostering financial wellness and promoting financial literacy and community involvement.

The Oakley Country Club is a private, 18-hole golf club located in Watertown, Massachusetts. Oakley has the distinction of being the first Donald Ross course in the United States.

RTN GoodWorks Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, public charitable foundation that fosters financial wellness, and promotes financial literacy and community involvement. Founded in 2011, the RTN GoodWorks Foundation is a natural outgrowth of the Credit Union’s commitment to community activities and financial literacy as a key component of financial health efforts.

Founded in 1945, RTN is one of the largest credit unions in Massachusetts, with over $1 billion in assets, nearly 50,000 members and 18 branches. RTN Federal Credit Union serves more than 1,100 sponsor groups including two major employers in Massachusetts – Raytheon Technologies and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
