1st United Credit Union is Up to Bat to Fight Hunger

PLEASANTON, CA (July 2, 2021): 1st United Credit Union is thrilled to announce that they have again teamed up with the Oakland A’s to support the Alameda County Community Food Bank. For every home run the A’s hit during the regular season, 1st United will donate $50 to the Food Bank.
“We’ve sponsored Homeruns for Hunger since 2012,” commented Steve Stone, Chief Executive Officer at 1st United Credit Union. “We’re excited to rejoin the Oakland A’s back at the ballpark, while supporting our community.”
According to the Alameda County Community Food Bank, 1 in 4 residents are experiencing or at-risk of hunger. For 1st United, partnering with the Food Bank is a meaningful way to help their community. Rooting for their hometown team to hit home runs is just an added bonus!
