Credit Union Donates $1,000 to Community College

CaptureWilmington, NC - Alliance Credit Union recently donated $1,000 to Cape Fear Community College for a business program scholarship. The $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a second-year business student who is a resident of New Hanover, Pender or Brunswick County. The Alliance Credit Union Business Program Scholarship was established in 2011.� This is the third year a CFCC student will receive the scholarship. "Alliance Credit Union is proud to partner with the CFCC Foundation," said Rick DeCrescente, Alliance Credit Union Regional Vice President. "CFCC truly makes a difference in our community by helping students achieve their dreams." "Were honored to help students who are working so diligently to achieve their educational goals," said Rachel Lee Robinson, Alliance Credit Union Business Relations Manager. Alliance Credit Union also supports Adopt and Angel, The Carousel Center for Abused Children, Cell Phones for Soldiers and other charitable groups.
