Skyward Credit Union Awards $12,000 in Scholarships

Wichita, Kan. – June 22, 2021 –Skyward Credit Union is pleased to announce the winners of the Aim Higher Scholarships for the 2021-2022 school year. Twelve undergraduate applicants were selected by a committee from a large pool of applications. Each winner will receive an award of $1,000 to support their education.

• Brooke Bradford, studying Business at the University of Kansas

• Landon Cooper, studying Architecture at Kansas State University

• Jenna Fiscus, studying Marketing at Asbury University

• Allena Kates, studying Nursing at Wichita State University

• Krystyna Kukhareva, studying International Business at Wichita State University

• Spencer Maley, studying Computer Science at Butler Community College

• Annabelle McLaughlin, studying Culinary Arts at the Culinary Institute of America

• Rylie Noland, studying Animal Science and Biotechnology at Kansas State University

• Rebekah Reed, studying Graphic Design at Fort Hays State University

• Aria Sheldon, studying Engineering at the University of Kansas

• Emma Stithem, studying Accounting and Finance at Wichita State University

The Aim Higher Scholarship was developed to encourage and support higher education for members of Skyward Credit Union. Thanks to a community grant from the Heartland Credit Union Association, the number of recipients was increased to twelve. Applicants were anonymously selected based on community involvement and an essay regarding financial education.

Skyward Credit Union has over $385 million in assets with locations in Wichita and Independence, Kansas.
