We offer competitive rates on auto and personal loans, mortgages, Visa® credit cards; and competitive dividends on savings accounts, certificates, money market accounts and IRAs. But most of all, we are passionate about helping our members achieve their financial goals.
WICHITA, Kans. – June 16, 2021 -- Wichita Federal Credit Union (WFCU) has awarded eight students with a total of $8,000 in scholarships. Each recipient received $1,000 to apply toward tuition costs for postsecondary education this fall semester.
WFCU began awarding scholarships in 2004 to encourage members of the credit union as they pursue their education. Since that time, 143 students have received a combined total of more than $127,000 in scholarship funds.
Candidates are members of the credit union and are selected by a committee based on grade point averages, extracurricular activities, community service, career goals, and a written essay.
