CSE Team Members Earn Certification to Help Members Improve Financial Health

Lake Charles, La.— Recently, eight employees at CSE Federal Credit Union (CSE) earned a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation through the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) by completing an 8-week virtual training program with a proctored online exam: Jennifer Harmon, Jessie Lognion, Chrisy Schiro, Lynette Guillory, Heather Lee, Amanda Duhon, Paige Klosterman and Michelle Harrison.

The CUNA CCUFC Program, presented by the Louisiana Credit Union League, is an enhanced, virtual training program for credit union staff to learn skills and knowledge necessary to assist and empower members to improve their financial health. Financial Counselors are required to recertify every three years to ensure their knowledge remains current. 25 CSE employees hold this designation in order to serve its members and community.

CSE is the largest credit union headquartered in SWLA with assets over $460 million. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Calcasieu, Cameron and Jeff Davis Parishes.
