Credit Union Holds Golf Outing to Benefit Charities

Basking Ridge, N.J. The Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity corporation, recently hosted its annual golf outing to benefit a variety of charities it supports.
"This annual event is a major fundraiser for our Foundation," noted Dr. Lauretta A. Farrell, assistant vice president of external affairs and executive director, Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation.� "We are always thankful for the support we receive from our sponsors and employees, who turn out year-after-year to enjoy a great day on the greens in support of our charitable efforts."

The Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation serves several local charities including: Matheny Medical and Educational Center; The Midland School; Hope for Veterans�; Somerset Home for Temporarily Displaced Children; Saint Clares Hospital, Saint Peters Healthcare System; Morris County Organization for Hispanic Affairs; Adult Day Center of Somerset County; and Raritan Valley Community College Foundation. Support from the outing also funds the Robert L. Birkhahn Community Spirit Scholarship and the Richard A. Romano Rutgers Scholarship.
