All Shred Fests™ are free and open to the public. Document destruction services are provided by SecurShred, a local company specializing in secure information management solutions. Participants can watch on a video monitor as their documents are shredded.
The Spring, 2021 NEFCU Shred Fest™, held on Saturday, May 8, shredded 40,000 pounds—20 tons—of documents.
“We were pleased to bring NEFCU’s Shred Fest™ event once again to our local community,” stated Bill Smith, Chief Marketing & Retail Officer. “Our members and staff look forward to Shred Fest™ every year and the volumes of paper processed during the first Shred Fest™ of 2021 showcased the high level of interest and participation."
