CSE Federal Credit Union Provides Lunch and Gifts for 118 Local Teachers and School Faculty

Lake Charles, La.— CSE Federal Credit Union (CSE) expressed gratitude to the teachers and faculty of its four Partner-In-Education (PIE) schools by providing a catered lunch and gifts during Teacher Appreciation Week, May 3 – 7, 2021.

“Teachers are a critical part of our local communities, and with the struggles our schools have had to endure over the last year, we wanted to show a token of our appreciation,” said Amy Nyberg, Business Development Specialist.  “We directly partner with Cypress Cove Elementary, the University Program at Lagrange High School, Brenda Hunter Head Start and Lake Charles-Boston Academy of Learning and hope to grow our PIE program in the future.”

Throughout the school year, CSE provides funds, resources and other services directly to PIEs in support of education efforts in Southwest Louisiana.

CSE is the largest credit union headquartered in SWLA with assets over $400 million. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Calcasieu, Cameron and Jeff Davis Parishes.
