Credit Unions Paying it Forward
August 2, 2013
A surprise for unsuspecting customers at Hudson's BBQ in LexingtonThursday afternoon.
Credit unions from across the state of South Carolina teamed up and bought lunch for nearly two dozen people.
Thursday's free lunches were part of the credit unions make a difference and pass it on campaign.
They're hope is people will pay it forward and together everyone can make a difference in our communities.
We are excited today to have the opportunity to provide the free lunch to these people and really just hope that they can kind of pass that along and then those people will pass that along and it can help create a greater good," said Chris Terlinden.
The credit unions recently bought lunch for people in the upstate, Greenwood and Florence.
In March they surprised drivers around the state with free gas.
