Clearview Federal Credit Union Pays it Forward to Celebrate Mr. Rogers' Birthday
March 23, 2021
Pittsburgh, PA, March 23, 2021 - Clearview Federal Credit Union paid it forward in celebration of the birthday of one of Pittsburgh's most beloved neighbors – Mr. Rogers. In his spirit, the staff of Clearview donated over $1,500 to support the neighborhoods in the Pittsburgh region.
Clearview staff visited Jeremiah's Place, Pittsburgh's only crisis daycare, to make a $500 donation to support its mission. Jeremiah's Place's mission is to protect children and strengthen families by providing a safe haven of respite, health, renewal, and support for children when their families are experiencing a critical need for childcare. With an increase in demand for their services in the past months, this donation will help provide much-needed supplies.
The financial center employees paid it forward in their neighborhoods by visiting local businesses and handing out gift cards with a simple message, "Be Kind." Over $1,000 was paid forward in the neighborhoods of the Pittsburgh region.
As a community financial institution, Clearview's heart is always with our neighbors. This day was an extension of Clearview's vision of "Helping People Enjoy a Better Life." Visit clearviewfcu.org to learn more.
