Credit Union Donates $250 to Community Center

hrcuCOHOES, NY (July 18, 2013): As part of its ongoing Community Heroes Campaign, Hudson River Community Credit Union (HRCCU) recently presented a check in the amount of $250 to Curtis Hovey, Director of the Cohoes Community Center. Every month, the Credit Union donates five dollars for each new HRCCU member or current member who adds a product or service during the month to a selected local not-for-profit. Organizations such as the Glens Falls Youth Center, Lower Adirondack Search & Rescue, VETSHELP and the Maple Ave Fire Department have received donations totaling $3,200 as a result of this HRCCU campaign. The Cohoes Community Center is open to the public without regard to ethnic origins, religious orientation or social background. For the past 38 years, the Center has been providing a community gathering space for people of all ages.
