(Indianapolis, IN, February 5, 2021))  Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU), Central Indiana’s largest credit union, celebrated President and CEO Ron Collier’s birthday and hosted the IMCU Gives Back food drive collecting 2,203 pounds of food donated by employees. IMCU delivered the food, which included 60 frozen turkeys, to 18 local food pantries to help those in need this holiday season:

  • Ball Hospital Food Bank – Serving the Muncie Community

  • C.A.P.E. (Community Action Program of Evansville) – Serving Evansville and Vanderburgh County

  • Cumberland First Baptist Church-Community Outreach Ministry Eastside C.O.M.E. – Serving Warren Township in Marion County and Western Hancock County               

  • Day Spring Center Food Pantry – Serving homeless families in Downtown Indianapolis

  • Franklin Food Pantry – Serving the Franklin Community in Johnson County

  • Grace Care Center Noblesville – Serving Hamilton County and Northern Marion County (North of 56th St)

  • Holy Spirit Catholic Church Food Bank – Serving Downtown Indianapolis

  • Hunger Inc. – Serving Perry Township and Beech Grove in Marion County

  • Interchurch Food Pantry – Serving Johnson County

  • Lord’s Locker Trafalgar – Serving the Trafalgar Community in Johnson County

  • Lord’s Pantry at Anna’s  House – Serving the families of Stringtown (Near West Neighborhood District)

  • KIC (Kids in Crisis) – Serving at risk kids in Johnson County

  • Old Bethel Food Pantry – Serving Warren Township in Marion County       

  • St. Martin’s Food Pantry Marion – Serving Grant County

  • St. Mark’s Church – Serving Hendricks County

  • Tri State Food Bank – Serving the Tri-State Community

  • Valley Mills Christian Church Food Pantry – Serving the Decatur Township Community and Camby

  • Wheeler Mission – Serving the homeless in Marion County

“I am honored to see the generosity from IMCU employees to do something more to help our communities during this challenging year,” said Ron Collier, President and CEO of IMCU.  “The IMCU Gives Back Food Drive provided an additional opportunity for our team to provide assistance to the communities served by IMCU and support several local food pantry organizations with their missions of providing food to those in need.”
