02/04/2021 - As a financial cooperative, FORUM is committed to giving back to its members through a variety of savings and prize based rewards. In 2020, FORUM Credit Union proudly returned over $2.3 million in rewards to members.

As part of FORUM’s savings and prize based rewards, FORUM awarded a grand prize of $5,000 to a member with a Weekly 5 Account and awarded three additional Weekly 5 account holders prizes of $50, $250, and $1,000. This account, now known as FORUM’s Bonus 5 Fund, gives members the chance to win monthly and annual prizes for making regular deposits into their savings and is just one of many savings accounts FORUM offers to help members save for their goals. “I have always been a big fan of FORUM,” said Anthony S., 2020 grand prize Weekly 5 winner. “I have never won anything in my life and to get a call saying that I just won $5,000 is pretty crazy!”

FORUM also awarded $1,378 to a member participating in the 2020 52 Week Money Challenge. This incremental savings plan helps members save $1,378 over the course of 52 weeks. Those who successfully save $1,378 and make a deposit 50 out of the 52 weeks are entered to win an additional $1,378.

Not only does FORUM give back to members through savings and prize-based rewards, FORUM gives back through checking account and credit card rewards, as well as educator grants and collegiate scholarships through the FORUM Foundation. The FORUM Foundation provided $800,000 in educator grants and scholarships since 2014.
