To create financial wellness in our communities through personal everyday banking.
Jackson, MI – American 1 Credit Union surprised two of their members recently by paying off the remaining balance on their auto loans as part of their Great Loan Payoff promotion.
The Great Loan Payoff ran from October 1 through December 31, 2020, and members earned drawing entries for American 1 to pay off their loan up to $15,000. Each member who financed or refinanced a qualifying loan with American 1 during the promotional period received two entries. All members who had an existing qualifying loan before the promotional period automatically received one entry as well.
Though the promotion stated there would only be one winner, American 1 paid off two members' loans. Justin M. refinanced three loans during the promotion, earning six entries, and Catherine F. had an existing loan, earning her one entry into the promotion.
"This promotion was especially unique for American 1," said Marla Sanford, VP of Marketing and Communications at American 1. "While we typically gear our promotions to new loans, our longtime members are incredibly important to us, so we wanted to find a way to include existing loans in this promotion to show our appreciation. Congratulations to our two winners who were randomly selected from nearly 20,000 entries!"
