Tropical Financial CU Launches "Get Beyond Money" Podcast to Teach About Finances

Miramar, Fla. (February, 2021)- Tropical Financial Credit Union is kicking off 2021 by launching a new podcast that aims to help people of all ages secure their financial future and find peace with their finances.  

The Get Beyond Money Podcast is hosted by TFCU’s Content Strategist Kara-Beth Yaquinta. Kara is one of TFCU’s Marketing Team members that created the award-winning Get Beyond Money website, a lifestyle-based financial literacy program. The Get Beyond Money podcast will help tackle a variety of money issues. 

Each show focuses on a different topic, with guests that help to enlighten and educate. They Get Beyond Money team research topics and frequently asked questions from its members to curate the most helpful content for listeners.  

“The goal of Get Beyond Money was to build a community, and this podcast will help us grow that community even more,” said Yaquinta. “Money can be such a taboo issue, but not on this show. Whether it is finding creative ways to afford that cup of iced coffee or gathering the proper information needed to purchase a home, our goals is to shed some light on the aspects of money people may be too scared to talk about.”
