Texas Trust Launches Virtual Financial Wellness Webinars
January 12, 2021
Arlington, Texas – January 12, 2021 – Texas Trust Credit Union is launching the True Dollar web series, a virtual financial wellness program. The series of 12 webinars will be simulcast on Facebook Live from noon to 1 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month throughout 2021.
The True Dollar webinars will cover relevant issues to help Texas consumers build brighter financial futures. The first webinar, airing live on Tuesday, January 12, will focus on Managing Financial Stress During COVID. In this webinar, a Texas Trust financial expert and guest speaker will share practical tips on how to manage money during these trying times and how to prepare for the unexpected. Jim Burgin, Director of Communications at Mission Arlington, will be part of the January 12 webinar to talk about local COVID resource options.
“This webinar series is for anyone who has financial questions, concerns, or is looking for practical advice on a particular financial topic,” said Debi Knoblock, Assistant Vice President of Business Community Engagement at Texas Trust. “We’ll cover common financial concerns that will help consumers effectively save for their children’s college, purchase a home, manage debt, and maximize Social Security and Medicare. This is just another way that we are helping our members build brighter financial futures.”
Each webinar is free and can be watched on Facebook Live. Anyone interested in registering for the webinars and watching the True Dollar webinar recordings can do so on Texas Trust’s Facebook page.
