San Diego County CU Hosting Community Blood Drive at Six Locations!

SAN DIEGO, Calif., (January 4, 2021)-- San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of Southern California’s largest locally-owned financial institutions, is hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at six locations, five in San Diego County and one in Riverside County. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there is currently an extremely low inventory of blood, hospital shelves are almost empty, and this short supply is affecting thousands of patients. The community is encouraged to help – lives depend on it!
Register today as the San Diego Blood Bank will be at the following SDCCU locations on January 5 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., click on a location below to schedule your appointment:
SDCCU has supported the San Diego Blood Bank for nearly 20 years. Blood donations are especially critical at this time of year after a busy winter season, and this year has been especially challenging. While an increased need for blood exists, donations have decreased due to businesses and community partners being unable to host normal drives due to newly implemented work from home policies.
