STRATFORD, CT – December 23, 2020 - Sikorsky Credit Union partnered with Milford law-firm, Harlow, Adams, and Friedman, P.C. to organize the 9th Annual Milford Trick or Trot Virtual 5K to benefit The Beth-El Center in Milford.

The Beth-El Center is a homeless shelter and soup kitchen that provides comfort to the Milford community through food programs, shelter, and support services. More than ever, families are facing hardships and challenging times in local communities. “It is so wonderful to have community support in our efforts to alleviate hunger and homelessness,” mentioned Jennifer Paradis, Executive Director of the Beth-El Center.

The family-friendly 5k takes place each year with the goal to raise money and awareness of hunger and homelessness in Connecticut. Although the race was held virtually this year, it was still a huge success with over $37,000 raised. All proceeds went directly to the Beth-El Center.

Sikorsky Credit Union’s CEO, Vinny Ciambriello, adds, “Thank you to our friends at Harlow, Adams, and Friedman, P.C. who worked with us to organize this event and to every member of the community that supported and generously donated to this important cause.”
