Fresno, CA – November 25, 2020 – Acknowledging the challenges of teaching students during a pandemic, Beth Dooley, Educational Employees Credit Union (EECU) president and CEO, praised educators in a recent recognition of outstanding Tulare County school staff.

In a message as part of a virtual program for the honorees, Dooley said the credit union is proud to sponsor the event with the Tulare County Office of Education. She applauded teachers, administrators and staff for continuing to provide students with a quality school experience and education in the era of COVID-19.

“On behalf of everyone here at EECU, I’d like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to all of the honorees for the great work that they’re doing in these very challenging times,” Dooley said.

Winners of the top awards were Stacy Trapletti, Teacher of the Year; Micaela Macareno, School Employee of the Year; and Philip Pierschbacher, Administrator/Manager of the Year.

The Tulare County program is one of five annual county events sponsored by EECU (based in Fresno, CA) that spotlights exemplary educators and school staff. EECU has 19 branches and serves more than 318,000 members in 12 Central California counties.
