Fitchburg, MA – November 16, 2020 – Local based St. Vincent de Paul received $8,000 through IC Credit Union’s “Empower” initiative, to help them purchase a new commercial freezer and refrigeration system. “We provide meals for 600 people a month,” said Roger Boisvert, President of St. Vincent de Paul, “and losing refrigeration, especially during a pandemic, could be catastrophic for those who rely on us, but thanks to this generous donation from IC, we were able to resume operations quickly.”

“St. Vincent de Paul has been a vital part of the local community for decades,” said Norman Boudreau, former President & CEO of IC, “and we are grateful for all they do.”
