Herndon, Va. (November 13, 2020) NWFCU Foundation, the charitable arm of Northwest Federal Credit Union, held its fifth annual Drive for the Driven Golf Tournament on October 19, 2020. The money raised from the event will benefit the NWFCU Foundation Scholarship Fund, which has awarded scholarships to college-bound students since 2005, totaling over $1.5 million.

“We are deeply grateful for our sponsors and golfers who, in the midst of this year’s challenges, helped make this the most successful Drive for the Driven golf tournament ever,” said Executive Director of the Northwest Federal Credit Union Foundation, Kaycee Childress. “Proceeds from this year’s event will help us expand the program in years to come, awarding even more scholarships to talented, hard-working recipients, as well as continuing to build our community college Helping Hands and Lifeline grant programs.”
