Firefly CU Raises Funds for Breast Cancer Survivor Support

BURNSVILLE, MN – November 13, 2020 - Firefly Credit Union dedicated the month of October to raise funds in support of The Firefly Sisterhood, an organization that fosters connections between women recently diagnosed with breast cancer and inspirational survivors. During Firefly Credit Union’s fundraiser month, employees were able to donate money and participate in many socially distant or virtual activities.

The charitable events included:

• Balloon pop-off where employees donated for a chance to pop balloons and win prizes

• At-home cookie decorating contest

• Silent auction

Through generous employee participation, Firefly Credit Union raised a total of $3,939 to donate to The Firefly Sisterhood. “October was an exciting month at Firefly,” said Firefly Credit Union President/CEO Dale Turner. “The Firefly Sisterhood is an incredible organization that supports a great cause.
