Vermont Federal is a full-service, not-for-profit, cooperative financial institution that has been serving Vermonters for over 70 years.
In the month of March 2025, Vermont Federal Credit Union donated a total of $9,000 to Vermont nonprofit organizations, administered by the Vermont Federal Foundation (Vermont Federal's 501(c)(3) non profit charitable organization). The nonprofits included Capstone Community Action, Howard Center's Baird School, Mercy Connections, Salvation Farms, and Vermont Folklife.

Capstone Community Action received a $2,500 donation supporting Capstone's Fuel Your Neighbors program, an initiative providing emergency heating assistance to local families, ensuring Vermonters stay warm during the coldest months.
