DuPage Credit Union to Sponsor DuPage Regional Spelling Bee

DuPage Credit Union is a member-owned financial institution energized to create memorable banking experiences.
DuPage Credit Union is excited to sponsor the 2025 DuPage Regional Spelling Bee on Thursday, February 20 at the Technology Center of DuPage, 301 S. Swift Road, in Addison; competition begins at 6 p.m.
The event will feature approximately two dozen local students, in grades one through eight, who have earned the right to represent their school and district: including three private school contestants. All contestants will receive an event t-shirt designed and donated by DuPage Credit Union. Other sponsors include the Technology Center of DuPage, Wynndalco and Britannica Education. The DuPage Regional Office of Education has coordinated the regional spelling bee since the 2007-2008 school year and is the official sponsor this year.
DuPage Credit Union donated $5,000 to help fund the event.
“We’re excited to once again sponsor the regional spelling bee and wish all the participants success,” said Amy Brandt, Senior Vice President of Digital, Payments, and Learning Transformation.
The DuPage County Regional Spelling Bee champion will represent the DuPage County region in the 2025 Scripps National Spelling Bee May 27 through 29 in Washington, D.C. This will be the 100th anniversary of the event.
