FORUM Announces 2024/2025 Educator Grant Recipients

FORUM Credit Union helps members live their financial dreams, serving families and businesses in the state of Indiana.
FORUM Credit Union is pleased to announce that the FORUM Foundation has awarded $26,675 to 13 educators throughout central Indiana for the 2024-2025 school year.
The
Foundation was created in 2014 to strengthen the communities FORUM serves by
enhancing educational opportunities through both collegiate scholarships and
educator grants. Grants may be used for any direct classroom expenses,
including, but not limited to, supplies needed to fund a project for the
classroom, basic classroom materials, supplemental items to enhance classroom
learning, or an experience to enrich educational involvement.
Since
2014, the FORUM Foundation has awarded over $275,000 in grants to more than 173
schools throughout central Indiana, helping nearly 57,780 students. This year,
the Foundation received applications from 135 educators requesting over $258,000
for educational tools from several disciplines including STEM, literacy, art,
music, and physical education.
The
recipients of the 2024-2025 FORUM Foundation educator grants are:

Akande, University High School of Indiana; Ruth Bowen, Northeast Elementary
School; LaMonica Henson, Indian Creek Elementary School; Jennifer Leavell,
Fortville Elementary School; Kevin Morse, Westfield High School; Brent Oliver,
Greenfield-Central High School; Sherry Pryor, Ray Crowe Elementary School;
Lauren Royalty, South Grove Elementary School; Vivian Szymkow, Avon Middle
School North; Sarah Tappendorf, Southeastern Elementary School; Lauryn Tooley,
Stonegate Elementary School; Melissa Warner, Center Grove High School; Beverly
White, Impact Academy III.

next year’s educator grants will open in June 2025. Additionally, collegiate
scholarship applications for the 2025-2026 academic year are currently open
