AVCU's Maple Leaf

On a bright Wednesday, the Association of Vermont Credit Unions (AVCU) presented the Vermont Foodbank with a check at their headquarters in Barre, Vermont. The $25k gathered through the inaugural Maple Leaf Charity Cup golf tournament is set to provide crucial support to families battling food insecurity across Vermont.

The first Maple Leaf Charity Cup, hosted by the Association of Vermont Credit Unions on October 2, 2024, was a resounding success! We surpassed our goal by more than double, raising upwards of $25,000 for the Vermont Foodbank. A heartfelt thank you to all the golfers and sponsors for truly embodying the credit union philosophy of “people helping people” and ensuring our neighbors in need have access to nutritious meals.
