As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, FORUM Credit Union has an established history of prioritizing financial literacy and sharing education with members of all ages. To best support people’s various financial situations in an ever-evolving world, FORUM recently launched a free, new online program called Smarter Money Life.

 This program offers a full suite of financial education resources including videos, practical tips, infographics, and a podcast covering a wide variety of subjects. These new tools exemplify the not-for-profit financial cooperative principles of financial education and concern for community. Topics include:
In addition, FORUM created a Smarter Money Life podcast hosted by Andy Mattingly, FORUM’s Chief Operating Officer. New episodes are posted each month and feature special guests. Topics include everything from avoiding scams to paying for college.
“Our goal for Smarter Money Life is to share strategies and knowledge that will help everyone improve their decisions and build healthier financial habits so they can live their financial dreams. Helping members improve their financial lives is at the core of FORUM’s purpose and we have constantly innovated our approach to manifest this purpose in all that we do,” said Mattingly.
