Vizo Financial Staff Stepped Up for the Annual Walk for Children’s Event
On June 8, 2024, Vizo Financial Corporate Credit Union’s staff and their families gathered virtually to participate in the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation’s annual Walk for Children’s event.

Walk for Children’s is an annual family walk event that benefits Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC – a Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospital – by bringing the community together and raising money for patient care. This year, Vizo Financial was a Match Sponsor for Walk for Children’s, meaning that the Corporate matched donations of up to $5,000 for the event. With employees and their families, they collectively contributed $5,880 in support of the event.
“For
the past eight years, we’ve had the honor of sponsoring and participating in
this incredible event that raises money for the children and families being
treated at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC,” said Erin Doan, VP of
administration for Vizo Financial. “We had 32 employees, friends and family
members participate in this year’s walk, and we’re so proud of them for
stepping up and truly living out the credit union movement’s philosophy of
‘people helping people’.”
The
2024 Walk for Children’s event
collectively brought in over $1,000,000.
“At
our core, we really believe in the mission of CMN Hospitals, and it’s always
our goal to support organizations like Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of
UPMC that do so much to serve the people in our local communities,” said Doan.
