Cabrillo Credit Union Partners with Olive Crest - Toy Drive 2024, Bringing Joy to San Diego Communities

San Diego, CA – 12/20/23 – Cabrillo Credit Union is proud to announce its successful collaboration with Olive Crest for the Olive Crest Toy Drive 2023, an initiative that has brought warmth and joy to the hearts of families and children across San Diego County. This partnership exemplifies Cabrillo Credit Union's commitment to community outreach and supporting local organizations dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of San Diego residents.

In a heartwarming display of generosity and solidarity, members of Cabrillo Credit Union rallied together to donate toys for children in need. These donated toys were distributed to four local San Diego Community branches, including La Mesa, Chula Vista, Downtown San Diego, and Scripps Ranch, where they found their way into the hands of deserving children, thanks to the dedicated efforts of Olive Crest.

Olive Crest, an organization deeply rooted in the belief that every child deserves a strong family, played a crucial role in ensuring the success of the Olive Crest Toy Drive 2023. In San Diego County, the number of abused or neglected children in the welfare system is alarmingly high and continues to rise. Olive Crest, along with the support of Cabrillo Credit Union and its members, is fearlessly combatting this cycle of abuse by connecting loving families with children who desperately need safety, care, and support.
